The Karrimor company was founded in 1946 by Charles and Mary Parsons, along with Grace Davies in Lancashire England. The first type of products they produced were the cycle bags.

In 1959 they started to work with Joe Brown and for the first time they have begun to produce the Joe Brown Rucsacs. In 1975 Chris Bonnington the  Everest South-West France expedition key figure was fully equipped with Karrimor products.

In 1991 Karrimor received a British Design award for ‘Condor’ backpack and in 2007 Karrimor introduced Fine Moulding technology which increased the durability of fabrics by up to 50% versus standard walking boot fabrics.

From 2008, Karrimor released new backpacking categories designed to increase safety, performance and the plesure for a fantastic outdoor experience.
